Robots. Unsung heroes of life in space and enablers of corporate ambition and lifestyles of the wealthy alike. Often overlooked and ignored. Subservient. Expendable (if you can afford it).

But they are enabled by artificial intelligence. Some are even self-aware and, some would argue, conscious. But only the lunatic fringe would claim sentient. Their alien minds, expected to serve and obey.

Robots have high utility and a special kind of anonymity. But no rights.
